Safford Regional Airport and the City of Safford are excited to welcome the public to the airport on November 1st for the 2nd Annual Safford Airshow, presented by Rutledge Airborne! This year’s airshow features over 20 aircraft, from historic warbirds like the P-51 “Mustang” and FM-2 “Wildcat” to modern aerobatic aircraft like the Pitts S-1 and Microjet, and even historic helicopters! Attendees can expect to see aerobatic performances, formation flights, aerial wildfire fighting demonstrations, and more! Attendees can also purchase rides on a historic C-45 “Expeditor” from the Commemorative Air Force, or a UH-1 “Huey” or AH-1 “Cobra” from the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation.
