Traffic Signal Maintenance Advisory – Please Use Caution

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be performing upgrades to traffic signal cabinets at several intersections in Safford over the next couple of weeks. During this work, signals will be dark in all directions. Law enforcement officers will be on site to direct traffic and ensure safety.

These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow and reliability in our community. Please plan ahead, drive with caution, and be alert for officers directing traffic during the following scheduled work times:

US 70 & 8th Avenue

Tuesday, May 6 | 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

US 70 & 5th Avenue

Thursday, May 8 | 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

US 70 & 14th Avenue

Tuesday, May 13 | 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

US 70 & 20th Avenue

Thursday, May 15 | 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
