Upcoming Fog Sealing – Street Maintenance Notice

The City of Safford Street Department will continue fog sealing next week on several heavily traveled roads to help preserve and protect our pavement.

📆 Scheduled Fog Sealing Dates & Locations:

Tuesday, April 29 – Central Avenue (from Main Street to 8th Street)

Thursday, May 1 – 8th Avenue (from Highway 70 to the city limit sign)

📬 Flyers will be delivered to residents and businesses along these routes and to nearby residential streets, also scheduled for fog sealing next week.

⚠️ Please use caution while traveling in these areas. Temporary closures and minor delays may occur during the application and drying process. Fog sealing typically takes just a few hours, and streets will reopen once it is safe to drive on.
