A message from the Bureau of Land Management:

Attention Gila Box Riparian National Conservation Area visitors

Work continues in the Gila Box Riparian National Conservation Area to improve user experience through the Great American Outdoors Act. The BLM began contracted work today at the Riverview Campground. The work is being done at the campsites to replace aging amenities and is scheduled to be completed by February 28, 2025. Contractors will work on up to five campsites at a time and any campsites not occupied by materials or equipment are available for public use. Signage is posted at the work areas. Additionally, road work will occur on Bonita Creek Road Feb. 3-May 5. During the work, visitors should expect delays and intermittent road closures. 

Once complete, this work will enhance user experience through modernized amenities and improved road conditions.
