VETERANS AND NATURE GRANT OPPORTUNITY NOW AVAILABLE

The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is helping spread the word about a new funding opportunity designed to connect veterans with the outdoors, wellness opportunities, and community engagement across Arizona.

Organizations serving veterans and outdoor recreation initiatives are encouraged to review a new Request for Proposals (RFP) focused on expanding access to nature-based experiences and programs for veterans throughout Arizona.

The Veterans and Nature 2026 grant opportunity seeks projects that support the physical, emotional and social well-being of veterans through outdoor recreation, conservation, education and community connection. Eligible applicants may include nonprofit organizations, public entities, tribal organizations and other qualifying groups working in veteran services or outdoor programming.

Programs supported through the grant may include activities such as hiking, fishing, camping, conservation projects, outdoor education, therapeutic recreation, wellness initiatives and similar efforts designed to strengthen veterans’ connection to nature and community.

The Request for Proposals includes eligibility requirements, funding priorities, application instructions and important deadlines for interested organizations.

Applicants are encouraged to review the full RFP carefully before submitting proposals.
