PIMA, Ariz. – July 4, 2026 – Residents across the Gila Valley are invited to kick off Independence Day with a community tradition as the KeyHole Properties Pancake Breakfast returns Saturday, July 4, at Edd Hubbard Field in Pima.
Hosted by the Town of Pima and sponsored by KeyHole Properties and the Eastern Arizona Historical Society and Museum, the complimentary breakfast begins at 6 a.m. and is expected to serve approximately 1,000 people.
The annual event will feature pancakes, eggs and bacon, alongside a brief patriotic program. The program will recognize the significance of Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Elected officials from Gila Valley communities are anticipated to help serve breakfast.
Donations will be accepted during the breakfast to support the ongoing work of the Eastern Arizona Historical Society and Museum.
The KeyHole Properties Pancake Breakfast is one of the opening events for Gila Valley 250, a valley-wide Independence Day celebration. Gila Valley 250 includes community events throughout Safford, Thatcher and Pima, featuring parades, family activities, volunteer recognition, live entertainment and fireworks.
The breakfast will take place at Edd Hubbard Field, located at 101 South Main Street in Pima. Admission is free, and no registration is required, courtesy of KeyHole Properties, the Eastern Arizona Historical Society and Museum, and the Town of Pima.
