Stockton Pass

The Stockton Pass area has a Shake Trail hike which offers an adventure in the Coronado National Forest, located in Arizona. Beginning at an elevation of approximately 5,500 feet, the trail gradually ascends to a height of 8,500 feet. While it’s not recommended for casual hikers, those with stamina can continue along the trail, eventually reaching the Swift Trail on Route 366.

One of the highlights of this hike is the serene and peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by the melodic sounds of birdsong. The trail meanders through the stunning beauty of the Coronado National Forest, providing ample opportunities to pause and rest on the large rocks scattered along the path. These resting spots also offer a chance to enjoy a snack while immersing oneself in the natural splendor.
