2024 Invitation to Participate in the Taste of the Trail Professional Salsa Expo & Competition at the 18th Annual SalsaFest
The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of the Taste of the Trail, taking place on the Safford City Hall Lawn at 717 W Main Street, Safford, Arizona.

Event Details:
- Date: Friday, September 27, 2024
- Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Safford City Hall Lawn, 717 W Main Street, Safford, Arizona
Event Highlights:
- Salsa Competition: Professional Salsa Makers from across the region will compete in various categories, including:
- Best Overall Salsa, sponsored by Velocity Builders ($1000 prize)
- Best Red Salsa ($500 prize)
- Best Green Salsa Sponsored by COUNTRY Financial ($500 prize)
- Best Specialty Salsa ($500 prize)
- Best Table Presentation ($200 prize)
- Taste of the Trail: Event participants will have the opportunity to sample a variety of salsas from the competitors. Each participant is required to prepare and donate at least 5 gallons of salsa (300 – 2 oz containers) to be distributed during the event.
- Community Involvement: Local businesses and home-based entrepreneurs are invited to compete. The Chamber provides a 6′ table and two chairs for each participant, with booth locations being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Volunteer Opportunities: The Chamber is seeking volunteers to assist with the distribution of salsa during the event. This is a great opportunity for community members to get involved and be a part of this exciting event.

Set-Up Information:
- Competitors can begin setting up their booths as early as 10:00 AM.
- All booths must be fully set up by 4:45 PM.
There is no charge for Chamber Members to participate.
