GRIEF SUPPORT PICNIC TO OFFER COMMUNITY, CONNECTION IN SAFFORD

SAFFORD, Ariz. — McDougal Caldwell Funerals & Cremations will host its 2nd Annual Grief Support Picnic on Saturday, June 13, at the Safford Pool, offering an evening focused on comfort, community and support for families navigating loss.

The free event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Safford Pool, located at 1024 W. Main St. Organizers say the gathering is designed to provide a welcoming environment for individuals and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one, whether recently or years ago.

The picnic will include hot dogs, light refreshments, swimming, family-friendly activities and access to grief support resources. Attendees are encouraged to connect with others in the community who understand the grieving process in a relaxed setting.

McDougal Caldwell representatives said the event is intended to remind community members that they are not alone and that healing can be strengthened through shared experiences and support.

The annual picnic is open to the public.
