Amanda Patterson Named Executive Director of United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties
SAFFORD, Ariz. (June 19, 2026) — The Board of Directors of United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Patterson as Executive Director, effective immediately.
Patterson succeeds Denise Benton and assumes the position after serving as Interim Executive Director for the past four months. Since August 2022, she has also served as the organization’s Grant Manager, helping oversee funding opportunities and community investments that support nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, and programs throughout Graham and Greenlee counties.
A longtime resident of the Gila Valley, Patterson brings both professional experience and a deep understanding of the communities United Way serves. During her time with the organization, she has worked closely with local partners, agencies, donors, volunteers, and community leaders to help address local needs and strengthen the impact of United Way’s programs and initiatives.
