Veterans, did you know that acupuncture is one of your VA benefits?? At Rose Hill Wellness, Alissa Stockton stands as the sole acupuncturist in Graham County who holds credentials with the VA, ensuring specialized and comprehensive care for Veterans seeking acupuncture services.
The process to access acupuncture treatment is straightforward: simply reach out to your primary care physician at the VA and express your interest in receiving acupuncture from our office. Rest assured, once this step is completed, we will take care of the rest. However, should you encounter any challenges in contacting your primary care physician or face issues in obtaining your benefits, please feel free to reach out to the Safford VA office at (928) 428-8010 and they will be more than happy to assist you through any hurdles.
Upon receipt of authorization from the VA, we will promptly reach out to you to commence your acupuncture treatment. Authorizations usually take between 30-45 days. If you wish to receive acupuncture in the meantime, the following options are available:
1. Acupuncture is covered by most major insurance plans including Medicare Advantage. Simply text a photo of the front and back of your insurance card and the front of your drivers license to our secure text at 928-235-4526 and I will check your benefits for you.
2. Self pay program which is $125 for the first visit and $85 for each visit thereafter depending on the specific needs of the patient.3. Purchase a package of 6 treatments for $390 (a $115 discount – $65 per treatment ) which must be paid in full at time of first treatment.
