SEACUS Celebrates new headquarters with ribbon cutting ceremony

SAFFORD, Ariz. — The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a ribbon cutting celebration for Southeastern Arizona Community Unique Services (SEACUS) at their new headquarters, located at 1200 W. Thatcher Blvd. in Safford. The event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., marking an exciting new chapter for an organization that has long stood as a pillar of care and compassion in the Gila Valley.

SEACUS has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for mature adults, the frail elderly, disabled individuals, and the family caregivers who support them across Graham and Greenlee counties. Their programs are built on one central belief that aging should be met with dignity, connection and independence.

From meals on wheels that provide not just nutrition but also a friendly wellness check, to respite care that allows caregivers a moment to rest and recharge, SEACUS services reach into our elders lives throughout the region. SEACUS also provides adaptive aides and home modifications to help individuals maintain daily living skills, along with senior center programs and educational resources designed to keep older adults active, engaged and informed.

“We are so excited to be all moved in to our new headquarters where we can better serve the community,” said Stephanie Nabor, executive director of SEACUS.

The ribbon-cutting event will bring together community leaders, SEACUS staff, clients and supporters to celebrate this milestone. Attendees can expect welcoming remarks, followed by the official ribbon-cutting and an open-house tour of the new facility.

The Graham County Chamber of Commerce invites local business owners, public officials, caregivers, seniors and community members to attend. The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend to show appreciation for an organization that has touched hundreds of local families through its steady commitment to service.
