This event is more than just putting on a pair of heels. It is a powerful opportunity to reflect on the reality many women face after experiencing sexual assault. The discomfort or awkwardness participants may feel while walking is only a very small glimpse into the pain, fear, and lasting effects that survivors can carry long after the assault itself. For many women, the emotional, mental, and even physical impact does not end in a moment. It can affect their sense of safety, trust, confidence, and daily life for a long time afterward.
By participating, we hope to raise awareness, encourage empathy, and remind our community that survivors deserve support, understanding, and to be heard.

Some heels will be provided on a first come, first served basis, but participants are welcome to bring their own. For beginners, we suggest a heel of 3 inches or less.
And there is even more reason to join in: the men who participate will be entered for a chance to win a 28” Blackstone Grill.
We encourage everyone to come out, show support, raise awareness, and help us shine a light on the impact of sexual assault. Whether you walk, cheer on participants, or simply attend to support the cause, your presence matters.
