[Safford, Arizona] – The GFWC – Woman’s Club of Safford is proud to host “In Her Shoes,” an eye-opening event in support of domestic violence survivors, in collaboration with Mount Graham Safe House. This event aims to raise awareness and understanding about the challenges survivors face and how they navigate these difficult situations. Join us on October 13th, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Women’s Club located at 215 W Main St, Safford, AZ.
“In Her Shoes” is a unique and immersive experience that offers participants an opportunity to step into the shoes of domestic violence survivors. Through personal stories and interactive scenarios, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges, decisions, and emotions survivors encounter on their journey to safety and healing.
This event is not only a chance for the community to come together and learn but also an opportunity to support the essential work of Mount Graham Safe House, a local organization that provides shelter and resources to those affected by domestic violence.
The ‘In Her Shoes’ event is a powerful way to increase empathy and understanding about the experiences of domestic violence survivors. By walking in their shoes, the event hopes to foster compassion and support for those affected by these difficult situations.
