Dear community partner,

The holiday season is an excellent opportunity to uplift a child that has struggled this

year. Crime in our community impacts families. Every time an arrest is made, loved ones

of that person feel the effects.

For the past 5 years, we have partnered with 911 Santa to bring a Christmas present to

children ages 1-10 that have been impacted by crime. These are children that have had

to cope with the side effects of a loved one being arrested and going through the

criminal justice system. 911 Santa provides a gift and a law enforcement officer delivers

it, providing a positive experience for the child during the holiday season. Through this

unique opportunity it is our goal that this positive interaction can help facilitate healing

for children negatively affected by the choices of others in our community.

Unfortunately, the 911 Santa program only provides gifts to children aged 10 and under.

This year, we have 32 children that are over the age limit. We know that minors aged

11-18 also feel these effects and would benefit by receiving a gift. We would like to

include them! But we need your help to make it happen.

We are working without a budget and are solely financed by donation. If you are able to

contribute to this cause, we are accepting assistance in the form of financial donations

or gifts that a pre-teen/teenager would appreciate.

Your generosity of any kind is truly appreciated.

All my best,

L. Scott Bennett
