Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Eastern Arizona College Governing Board, District 4, and I humbly ask for your support as we work together to shape the future of education in our community.
As a long-time resident, I have deep roots in the Gila Valley. My family and I have proudly called this area home for many years, and my commitment to this community is reflected not only in my personal life but in my professional journey as well.
For over 30 years, I’ve had the honor of serving and leading in various capacities—first as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and later as a law enforcement officer and motorcycle officer with the Tucson Police Department. I have also had the opportunity to serve as the Director of the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, where I worked with local businesses to foster growth and economic stability. In addition, my new role as a leader in local government has allowed me to serve our community in even greater ways, working alongside community leaders to create positive change.
My dedication to service is also reflected in my personal life. My wife, Trinity, and I have raised our family, mostly in the Gila Valley, and we share a passion for community involvement and supporting local initiatives. As a proud father of six, I understand the importance of education and the role that Eastern Arizona College plays in preparing our children for a bright future.
As a candidate for the EAC Governing Board, District 4, my goals are simple but impactful:
• Advocating for quality education that prepares our students for success in a rapidly changing world.
• Supporting local businesses and economic development through partnerships with the college.
• Ensuring fiscal responsibility to keep EAC accessible and affordable for all families.
• Promoting community involvement and open communication to meet the needs of students, parents, and educators alike.
I am running for this position because I am committed to the long-term success of Eastern Arizona College and our community. With your support, I will work to ensure that EAC continues to provide quality education and remains a cornerstone of opportunity for generations to come.
I would be honored to earn your vote for Eastern Arizona College Governing Board, District 4. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant future for our students and community.
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to serving you.
Remember, Go Monsters and YES on 402!
Best regards,
Eric Bejarano
