Title of position: GIS Analyst
Position type: Full-time
Annual Salary: $45,808
Location: Graham County Assessor’s Office

Description of responsibilities:
• Reads, researches, and interprets legal descriptions, and existing maps and drawings
• Prepare new market and submarket maps as required
• Processes parcel splits and parcel combos using updated legal descriptions
• Assigns new parcel numbers and updates appropriate GIS layers for splits and combos
• Coordinates and implements the overall mapping functions of the Assessor’s Office
• Maintain assessor map data integrity
• Assists the public in related GIS questions pertaining to assessor maps
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or GED, two years or more of education and experience in GIS, drafting, engineering or computer science, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, including knowledge of computer systems and file management; An A.A.S. degree in drafting may be substituted for experience. Possession of a valid Arizona driver’s license, with a history of safe driving and the ability to maintain a safe driving record.
