As First Responders, we understand continual training is critical to the outcome of any response.

It is the goal of the Graham County Search and Rescue organization to provide a centrally located Multi-use Training Facility for Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, and other emergency response teams in and around Graham County. This facility will adjoin our existing building on Dusty Trail in Thatcher.

Graham County Search and Rescue is currently seeking donors interested in providing this Multi-Use Training Facility to all our First Responders.

  • Multi-Use Training Facility  Project Cost $425,000.00
  • Building addition measures 50 X 100 X 16.
  • This addition will be multi-functional with 5 bay doors to protect SAR vehicles/equipment from the elements when not being used for training.
  • Graham County Board of Supervisors is financing $42,500.00 of the cost.
  • Local Designer and Engineer, Lupe Munoz has significantly reduced his cost to see this project through.
  • We currently have a grant proposal pending through the Freeport McMoran.
  • United Way of Graham & Greenlee Counties has encouraged our organization to submit a proposal in September at the opening of their grant cycle. This will be accomplished. UW is offering to match up to $200,000.00.

If you are willing to assist us in making this beneficial project a reality for our county and surrounding areas, please contact our Project Manager, Ronnie Glaspie, by September 10th, 2023, at 928-965-3706.
