Free Tax Service through VITA volunteers at the Chamber

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting the free tax services provided by VITA volunteers once again this year. Volunteers will be available on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a walk-in service only, no appointments or drop offs are available. 

Information to bring:

Picture ID for both spouses

Social security card or Social Security Benefit Statement for each person on the return 

All income documents: w2, 1099, 22 benefits, unemployment benefits, health insurance 1095a forms. 

Canceled check for direct deposit. 

VITA is an IRS sponsored program offering free tax preparation services to low-moderate income households. Income tax returns are electronically filed and direct deposit of refunds are available.
